Gosh I’m so happy you’re here. I’ve missed reading your writing regularly. Also, love this recipe. I eat popcorn like...daily. I usually buy it coz I’m obsessed with this brand. Makes Bjorn Qorn which makes this spicy vegan one. But yeah, I should just make it lol
Oh I feel like all of us who food/baking blogged in the late 2000s and 2010s who fell off the face of the earth, it’s all because life caught up with us. I just have a tiny blog but when I started residency and had a baby, that was pretty much the end of it... I’m always so full of admiration and joy when you’ve popped in occasionally on your blog the last few years with so much you have going on! I hope this format works well for you too! Popcorn is so delicious. We just rediscovered microwave popcorn thanks to new Costco opening near us and us being able to shop conveniently at Costco again for the first time in years 😂😂😂
I could not imagine juggling anything with residency! So glad to connect with you here and chat about popcorn :) Thanks so much for finding me and for the kind words.
love that you're writing more often. not sure if you were aware but popcorn isn't recommended for kids younger than 4 given the potential choking risk... that said, like a lot of this stuff (e.g., the recs about cutting grapes a certain way, etc.), there can be a lot of angsty online back and forth. ultimately glad to see that you're sharing recipes and writing more. -a fan
Thank you for posting this!! I used to use this method and it always yielded PERFECT popcorn! I haven’t made popcorn in years, and had forgotten this method! I also liked using organic popcorn from the bulk aisle of my co-op, and keeping it in a glass jar in the freezer.

I'm going to need to try Bjorn Qorn! Big hugs to you Hetty.

Hellooooooo! Miss you and all the bowls - give them all a big squeeze for me! xx
Big squeezes to YOU! I forgot to post my delicious KFC bowl from Shiku the other day when I had jury duty--maybe it'll go in Notes now ;)

Thank you, Fred! That's a great warning and we're all about erring on the side of caution in this household, so always appreciated.
